Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most used treatment for tension release and relaxation.

Massage involves working the soft tissue of the body, to ease day-to-day stresses and muscular tension, and promote relaxation. It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries.body massage.

Sport Massage

Sports massage may be explained as the skilled, manual, therapeutic application of soft tissue remedial techniques that are selected and performed after careful consultation, recording of medical history and appropriate general and specific assessment.  Sports massage has its base in recovery of an Injury, in the rehabilitation of the client’s injury and in preventing injury at the outset of physical work whether by a sporting or life style activity.

With all massage treatments, the therapist will adapt the pressure and techniques used to suit the client’s individual needs and preferences.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage refers to a type of massage that involves the manipulation of the deeper structures of the connective tissues. It differs widely from the other types of massages as its main duty is to penetrate through the superficial layers with specific techniques to target the deeper structures of the connective tissues such as muscle tissue, tendons and fascia which may be under tension or suffering from chronic tightness or adhesions (scar tissue) on the muscles which can lead to problematic functional movements.

Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage, also known as champissage, is a treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck, and shoulders, often using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition and release the tension around the specific area. Thus reducing neckaches, headaches, shoulder pain , improving mobility, sleeping and relaxation…

It originates from an Indian alternative medicine system called Ayurveda, (translated as the ‘science of life’), whereby it is believed that the mind and body are intricately connected and thus can influence one another. Through this theory, is understood that Indian head massage can not only reduce headaches and improve physical well-being, but it can also improve mental and emotional wellness too.

Reflexology

Did you know, your feet is a map for your therapist? A map of your body and it’s functioning.

Reflexology is a science, a powerful holistic therapy based on the principles, that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands, which correspond to all of our glands organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes can help many health problems in a natural way, a type of preventative maintenance.

Reflexology can help to relax and calm, but also balance the body, improving nerve connections and blood supply. This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance. Reflexology brings balance and harmony to all body systems. It can calm or stimulate according to the needs of the body.

Reiki

Reiki is excellent for healing any physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues of any kind and it gives wonderful results.  You receive your reiki session fully clothed, sitting, or lying on the coach.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the “life force energy” (chi, ki, prana) flows through us and keeps us alive.

If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. When the flow of the “Life Force Energy” is disrupted, weakened or blocked, emotional or health problems tend to occur. Imbalances can be caused from many situations occurring in our lives, such as: emotional or physical trauma, injury, negative thoughts and feelings, including fear, worry, doubt, anger, anxiety, negative self-talk, toxicity, nutritional depletion, destructive lifestyle and relationships, neglect of self and lack of love for oneself or others, from emotions that are not expressed in a healthy way…

Reiki is excellent for healing any physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues of any kind and it gives wonderful results. Reiki healing can be given anywhere at any time as no special equipment is needed. The practitioner is a channel which the energy is drawn through by the need or imbalance in the recipient.

Testimonials

“Tamás makes me feel very relaxed and important during the session. He has also provided a number of techniques for me to use away from his sessions, so that I can get the full benefit of his treatments.”

I genuinely look forward to my sessions with Tamás as they are worthwhile and it is money well spent. In addition to the health benefits from the treatments, I also enjoy his flexibility to adapt to my requirements. Sometimes I predominantly want to talk in a session with a treatment, other times I prefer a full hour of treatment. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. His services are really affordable and definitely add value. I would highly recommend sessions with him as mental and physical health are so important.

Louise W.

I have been having regular back massage treatments with Tamás now for over a year and have found these to be so beneficial for me in helping to relieve tension, stress, mobility and widespread knots. After the treatments I immediately always feel relief and more mobility and my headaches are instantly reduced. From appointments with Tamás I always find him to be very knowledgeable, helpful and extremely good at his job. He is very professional and has a lovely manner with clients that makes you feel relaxed. He is also helpful in guiding me with various exercises and breathing techniques to also help with my progress. I have had massage treatments  over the years but for me, Tamás is the best for really making an impact. I would highly recommend his treatments and expert knowledge and simply would not go anywhere else!
T.K.

Tamás is really present with me in every session. The fact that he is constantly developing himself as a person and as a therapist inspires me and serves as a good example to follow. He not only gives me the best tips for reducing stress and having more fun, but he also practices them himself. His holistic approach is the main reason I like working with him, and of course, he is a kind, honest, and curious person who always puts you first and goes the extra mile to provide the best service possible.
